Rafting in Minakami

I joined the rafting activity in Minakami.

At first there was a lecture.

Then rafting.

We jumped and swimmed.

Flowers of wisteria bloom in my garden.

Zuidam, Dutch Jin

Dutch friend of my daughter presented us Dutch Jin (Genever)

It was distilled by Zuidam family in traditional style in Nederland. It tastes a little sweet and smells complex of herbs. The color is thin yellow. I like it.

Hana is happy with my daughter.

I planted potato.

After long rain, I planted potato.

Already our neighbor cultivated the field by tractor,and brought a mount of manure.
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom on the pond now.

Huki-no-tou (Japanese butterbur flower-bud)

I picked Huki-no-tou, the flower-buds of Japanese butterbur, in the field.

Its bitter smell makes me feel the coming of spring.

I made tempra of Huki-no-tou.

Bumblebee's hole

At Tuganeji temple, two black bumblebees were flying.
As they moved so busily, I could not take a photo.

But finally I found bumblebee's hole.
